Constantine

This movie is, like I say about all the movies I review, is a personal favorite. It was originally a comic book series published by Vertigo. I have read some of the comics before and they are very cool. It stars Keanu Reeves and is full of awesome fight scenes.

Constantine is sort of like an exorcist. It starts off as him pulling a soldier demon out of this little latino girl. He tries different holy symbols on her to see which one effects her and uses a mirror to trap the demon and throw it out of a window. The only reason he is doing this sort of work is because he committed suicide as a younger man and was sent to hell. Now he is trying his "hardest" to buy his way into heaven. As the story unfolds more, it shows the ruins of a church in Mexico where this two men are foraging around for random stuff and one of the falls through old floor planks and finds a Nazi flag wrapped around the end of a spear-tip. The spear happens to be the Spear of Longinus which is the spear that pierced and killed Jesus. The spear takes over the latino man and forces him to go to America to more or less find Constantine.

This movie has never ceased to amaze me every time I watch it and I continue to watch it constantly. 10 out of 10 and 2 thumbs up from Luis Jargens.
