Horror films date back as far as the late 1890's with notable films as 1896 Le Manoir du diable ("The House of the Devil") which is sometimes credited as being the first horror film. Today horror movies are as big as any other genre out there. Modern titles such as the Saw series or remakes of older classics such as My Bloody Valentine.
